Selecting a liquefaction plant requires sizing the gas volume (Nm3/day), evaluating feedstock gas analysis (heavy hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, water, and sulfur content), and checking local ambient conditions. In tropical climates like India, peak summer temperatures can exceed 45°C. Cooling systems must be designed with adequate thermal margins, and compressor systems must remain efficient at high ambient air temperatures. Hongke Qingneng uses mixed refrigerant cycles (MRC) optimized for high warm-side temperatures to maintain lower specific power requirements.

Yes. All pressure vessels, cryogenic storage units, and piping blocks are designed in accordance with ASME Section VIII and local Indian Standards (IS). We work closely with local EPC partners in India to provide all requisite QA/QC certificates, radiographic testing reports, material test mill reports, and thermal calculations necessary to facilitate approvals from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) and adherence to Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) guidelines.

Skid-mounted configurations offer several advantages: over 90% of the assembly, piping, electrical, control systems, and insulation are completed and tested in our factory. This minimizes field construction work, which is often delayed by local logistics or site challenges. For Indian marginal wells or remote coal bed methane (CBM) sites, skid-mounted units allow rapid installation (often within weeks after site delivery) and can be easily relocated if gas production declines.

Our desulphurisation systems use a combination of chemical/physical absorption and dry desulfurization processes. The system features corrosion-resistant clad steel pressure vessels (meeting HIC and SSC test standards) to remove high levels of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) safely. This ensures downstream protection for the liquefaction cold box, preventing issues like aluminum corrosion and freezing of sulfur components, while meeting strict environmental emissions norms.

With proper design allowances and regular preventative maintenance, our industrial pressure vessels and skid assemblies are designed for a 20-to-25-year service life. We use premium grade structural steels, stainless steels, and components from globally recognized instrumentation and valve suppliers.
