To design a shell and tube condenser, we need specific inlet and outlet fluid temperatures, flow rates, operating pressure, allowable pressure drops, thermodynamic physical properties (density, viscosity, thermal conductivity, specific heat, latent heat of vaporization), details on non-condensable gas (NCG) fractions, and fouling margins based on fluid quality.
